what do you think about christian singles?
tell me your opinion about it. Why do they remain singles, and how the world view them?
I am a single Christian woman who has come to the conclusion that she only wants to marry a person with whom she is involved in ministry, from which a natural friendship develops, and out of that develops something else. In that order. In other words, I only want want to marry if there’s something we can do together, and we’ll be able to do it better if we get married.
I also want someone who views non-egalitarian marriages as idolatrous – which is all but impossible to find, especially in a place where guys still immediately get turned off the moment they notice a girl is taller than they are. And I’m not the type to ’settle for less’ just to have a hubby.
Now, where I live (a VERY Catholic country in Eastern Europe), a significant element of the population (or at least their parents) get worried if a girl doesn’t have a candidate for marriage by age 20.
But since I’m not a native and am just totally out of the box even for someone of my nationality (American), folks just look at me and accept me for who I am – a 42-year-old single woman.
Some have expressed admiration or even envy that I can just ‘be me’ and not worry about what other people think. Why is it that all of them are female????
Has anyone gone to a Christian Singles Speed Dating night?
I am over 40 and divorced. I am a spiritual person and want to meet new people. I am not a drinker nor am I interested in meeting someone in the bar scene. I have heard of a speed dating being held in a church and was intrigued. Any suggestions?
Check out your churches and see if you can go, then just be yourself and try and impress the other person. Good luck
Young singles group at a church in roseville or sacramento?
I’m twenty-five and in a little more than a month I will be moving to Antelope near Roseville. I am interested in finding a young, christian singles group that I can attend to make friends and meet people. I am not looking for a COLLEGE group but a group for young, single professionals. I am non-denominational, evangelical Christian. Anny suggestions of a church with a young, singles group in the area?
I suggest you look into your local area Bayside Church. They have a singles group for your age range at their Granite Bay church. If you attend in Antelope or Roseville you will be informed of their groups throughout the parish and community. You could take the drive to the Granite Bay church and join them. It isn’t far from Antelope or Roseville.
They have a website, look them up.
Bayside Church
They have a large number of Christian parishioners.
to christian singles, do you still believe in love?
Ofcours we all know about God’s love and we believe in that.
but coming down to earth, do you still believe in love? do any of us? Do people still have hopes of falling inlove or do we just enter countless relationships in the persuit of pleasure or something else?
does anyone still have a clue of what love is in this time we are living in?
I’d appreciate answers mostly from people born from 1986 up, but feel free to answer
Yes, I still believe in love.
I don’t believe the world typically knows what love is though and I think a lot of people have a distorted view of it. To most, it’s simply an emotion–some form of emotional attachment to someone that can be lost easily when there is tension. Part of the reason there is so much divorce is because people cite the fact that "they don’t love each other anymore" as if they are victims to their emotions. I think to a believer especially, love is a lot more. It’s not just emotional nor is it just about pleasure and sex. It’s about a determination to love despite our emotions. It’s about self sacrifice, caring for each other’s needs, and helping one-another through times, good and bad. When this is done, the emotional part will follow if it wasn’t there to begin with. Part of the reason Christians should place such a high view on marriage is it is an expression of love. It’s the desire for commitment that is an outflow of a heart that loves someone.
I’m single at the moment, but I’m in a serious relationship and hopeful that I’ll be married in the future. Part of the reason I can be hopeful is there is an obvious evidence of love in our relationship. The times when it is most obvious is not when we are happy and having fun, it’s when we are depressed or there is tension over some matter. That’s when you see the effects of love. You see hearts that care more about each other than themselves.
Is there a Christian chat where I wouldn’t need a credit card to sign up?
I’m a single woman and would like to occasionally get on and chat with decent people (as in, not be accosted for cybersex every time I enter the chatroom). I figured my best bet would be a christian singles chat, but every time I try to go to those sights, you have to use a credit card to be able to chat or send messages. Any suggestions?

What’s the best Yahoo group for christian singles in the Fort Worth area?
I have an over 35 sister that needs a good opposite to have fun with and can genuinely appreciate. Thanks!
Go to Yahoo Groups, type in your search criteria and make a selection based on their description. Some are public and some require membership. My guess is that membership ones are the best bet.
Where can you meet a bunch of good quality christian guys in one setting?
